Dr. Orson Morrison is co-owner of LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Morrison is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois. He obtained his Doctoral Degree at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Niagara University. In addition to his Oak Park practice, he works as the Associate Director of DePaul University’s Counseling & Psychological Services. He previously held positions as the Director of DePaul Family & Community Services, Vice President of Clinical Services at Lawrence Hall Youth Services, Clinical Director of Hartgrove Hospital’s outpatient psychiatric clinic and Director of Psychology Training at Riveredge Hospital. Dr. Morrison's clinical interests include working with adolescents, adults, and couples. He has developed specializations in working with individual, systemic and multi-generational trauma, mood disorders, strengthening couples’ relationships, multicultural psychology, and psychological testing (ADHD, IQ, Personality, and Academic Evaluations). In addition, Dr. Morrison is trained in Ancestral Lineage Healing, a healing arts modality that takes a non-dogmatic, animist approach to working with one’s ancestors to bring further healing around issues such as generational trauma. This healing modality is offered outside of Dr. Morrison’s role as a Psychologist.

Keri Morrison is co-owner of LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services. Keri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. She earned her Master’s Degree from Loyola University in Chicago, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Illinois State University. Keri received extensive training as a child and adolescent therapist at the University of Chicago Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic and the DePaul University Community Mental Health Center where she provided outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. Keri has also worked in the areas of child welfare, crisis triage and intervention, partial and inpatient hospitalization programs and the juvenile justice system. Keri works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has developed specializations in treating anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, parent training, and women's issues.

Dr. Mark Radel is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois. He earned a Doctoral degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Radel has worked with children, adolescents and adults. In therapy, Dr. Radel works to create an empathic, open, and collaborative atmosphere to treat issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder and trauma-related reactions, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. Identity development, grief and loss, relationship problems, and domestic violence and abuse are other areas of clinical strength. Dr. Radel practices primarily from a psychodynamic approach and incorporates aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal therapy to enrich the therapeutic process, suit individuals' specific goals for therapy, and promote growth and change. In addition to therapy, Dr. Radel conducts psychological assessments to address questions related to diagnosis, personality issues, cognitive functioning, attentional problems, and learning disorders.

Dr. Caitlin Wurster is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois. She earned her Masters and a Doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy, Schaumburg. Dr. Wurster has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Her primary clinical orientation is psychodynamic, though she also draws on interventions from multiple orientations, including interpersonal therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness practices, depending on the individual needs of each client. Dr. Wurster also provides services to adults. In addition to her child and family specialties, Dr. Wurster also has experience working with LGBT, trauma, and relationship issues in psychotherapy.

Dr. Brittany Adams Yee is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois. Dr. Adams Yee takes a collaborative, egalitarian approach to treatment. She is open and nonjudgmental, and takes special time to tailor treatment approaches to fit each individual therapeutic relationship. Dr. Adams Yee practices from a predominately existential-phenomenological framework where individual needs, meaning-making, and pursuit of happiness are emphasized. She incorporates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and attachment theory as needed. Providing culturally sensitive treatment is a cornerstone of Brittany's values as a therapist, and she welcomes any and all culturally sensitive issues into her therapy room. Additionally, Brittany considers children and adolescents to be a special area of focus. She has spent the past 5 years of training fostering and developing play therapy and parent coaching skills. In addition to children and adolescents, she has studied disability issues extensively as well as spent the last year of her training working within a health psychology setting, where she specialized in the intersection of mental and physical health. DeJohn Barnes is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. DeJohn has worked with children, adolescents, adults and has a passion for incorporating pop culture into his therapeutic work. He believes that the media we love to watch and read can have an amazing impact on our identity development and that we can attain strength and insight from the characters and content that resonate with us. DeJohn believes that effective treatment begins with a thorough assessment taking account of an individual’s demographics, histories and experiences. Mr. Barnes also understands how diversity variables can impact client's life experiences and views of therapy. DeJohn's style is educational, informative, and empathic. He is LGBTQIA+ affirming and has worked with persons who are developing their sexual identities. He has also done grief and trauma work. Mr. Barnes aspires to incorporate traditional psychology with modern approaches. He utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy and Psychoanalytic techniques. DeJohn earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has worked at the University of Chicago as an AFC certified medical case manager. Sandra Braine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. Her focus has been working with women and their families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Sandra’s treatment incorporates Feminist psychotherapy, Trauma therapy, Interpersonal and Relational therapies, dream work and journal keeping. She has provided direct clinical services, clinical supervision and served as a professor at Dominican University in the Masters in Social Work program. Sandra has worked with pregnant/parenting girls and adolescent boys who have experienced trauma, separation and loss. She began mental health training in London, England, and returned to Chicago in 1984. She previously served as the Director of Clinical Services/Counseling at ERIC House, Maryville Scott Nolan, Casa Imani, Westside Health Partnership and Chicago Child Care Society. Sandra has completed Advanced Psychotherapy Certification at University of Chicago and is a candidate for certification in the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training program (CAPPT) at the Institute of Psychoanalysis.

Josephina Cervantes grew up in the Suburbs of Chicago. She has spent over 10 years of her career building her interpersonal and customer service skills. She is compassionate, hardworking and enjoys supporting others.
As the Clinic Office Assistant, Josephina manages various administrative tasks of the practice and helps the staff at LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services connect with their clients making the experience for both the client and the clinician easier. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and going on adventures.

Alyson Griedl is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Illinois. She earned a Masters of Arts in Women and Gender Studies and a Masters of Social Work with a clinical concentration from Loyola University of Chicago. Alyson has gained experience providing clinical supervision and providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a community mental health setting.
Alyson has a strong foundation working with clients who have survived traumatic experiences using a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, and she has received training focusing on domestic violence counseling and advocacy. Alyson has a clinical focus working with women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures living with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral concerns, trauma-related disorders, domestic violence, identity exploration, and life adjustments. Leah Payne, MA (she/her) is an advanced psychology extern currently working toward her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at The Chicago School. She has experience working in a therapeutic day school with children and teenagers with emotional and behavioral difficulties and an inpatient behavioral hospital with individuals across the lifespan experiencing a variety of crises and stressors. Leah believes that people grow through connection and enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships with clients. She values authenticity and creativity in the therapeutic space and strives to meet individuals where they are with empathy and positive regard. Leah incorporates relational-cultural and client-centered perspectives in understanding people’s lived experiences and needs, and integrates skills-based techniques, as applicable, to aid in achieving client goals. She aims to provide culturally responsive practice and remain mindful of intersectionality and contextual factors in working with clients. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, trauma, identity formation, family and group dynamics, ADHD, interpersonal difficulties, and experiences of psychosis and mania.

Brinda Vaidya (she/her) is second-year clinical psychology doctoral student at The Chicago School. She earned her BA in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh in 2021. Brinda has professional experience in conducting neuropsychological assessment on adults. She sees therapy as an opportunity for her clients to explore their emotional concerns in an environment and client-centered manner that is catered to their unique needs. Brinda’s clinical interests include self-concept and identity, depression and anxiety, and humanistic-existential psychology. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, music, and is a proud cat owner.

Radhika Puppala (she/her) is a second-year clinical psychology doctoral student at The Chicago School. Previously, she worked in substance use & harm reduction research at Boston Medical Center. Before that, she graduated with two bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Spanish from the University of Pittsburgh. Radhika aims to empower communities of color, especially first- and second-generation immigrants, in recognizing and destigmatizing their mental health. Her clinical interests include trauma, life transitions, gender/sexual identity, and family work.
